New Special Skill:
Ability to remain calm in a Tornado during a Tech Rehearsal.
During tech rehearsal for Beauty and the Beast in Memphis, TN the
city had a tornado. I received word that a tornado watch was in affect
for Shelby County, so I sent a crew member to the green room to
watch the news and to let me know if it was headed our way. With
only 15 minutes left in the show I was told by house management that
we had to evacuate to the basement. I stopped rehearsal and sent
everyone to the basement. After I did a thorough check of the
building I proceeded downstairs to join the dancers and crew. Once
down in the basement I did an role call to make sure that everyone
was present and accounted for. After twenty minutes in the basement
we were able to return to the stage.
